RB Heygood has top four

Springfield (Pa.) Cardinal O’Hara has a long line of running back success. And next in that long line is three-star tailback Anthony Heygood. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Heygood already has some impressive offers and some favorites in mind.
“I’ve worked hard to get a little faster and a little stronger this summer,” Heygood said. “I’ve improved my football speed. I can now move sideline-to-sideline better.”

A better Heygood equals problems for defenders, but is music to the ears of college coaches.
“I have a top four with no order,” Heygood said. “I like Notre Dame, Boston College, Wisconsin and West Virignia. Everybody but Notre Dame has offered me. I just like everybody on that list and what they have. I like the style of running that they all have and how they use their running backs.”
Heygood said that the style of offense, relationship with coaches and academics are going to be important to him.
“Definitely academics first,” he said when asked about what’s important to him. “But I also have a good relationship with the Notre Dame coaches and the Wisconsin running back coach, too. You also have to like how Wisconsin has had nine years of more than 1,000 yards rushers. And Boston College is a great school for academics and for football.
“I’m hoping to get down to West Virginia on August 30 for a visit, too.”
