RB hearing from all over

Auburndale, Fla., linebacker Edward Hardee has not been talked a lot about in recruiting circles this summer, but he has all of the tools to make a solid linebacker on the college level.
“I have not picked up my first offer yet, but I am getting a lot of interest,” Hardee said. “Nebraska, Michigan, Miami, Central Florida, Alabama, Florida Atlantic, Iowa State, Louisville, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Connecticut, Kansas State, Maryland and South Florida have all been sending me mail.”

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Hardee runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. He was named first team Polk County and the Auburndale Ledger first team.2nd
He is ranked as the No. 2 wrestler in the state of Florida in the 215-pound division. He has won student-athlete of the month on several occasions and was named Polk County wrestler of the year as a junior.
“I have a long and lanky style body,” Hardee said. My style of play is that I am very quick from side to side. I am a smart player and very coachable. I would consider myself to be a great athlete.”
During his junior campaign he collected 66 solo tackles, 50 assists, 11 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, recovered two fumbles and broke up five passes.
“The schools at the top of my list at this point are Florida, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, Florida Atlantic and Central Florida,” Hardee said. “I really like the Florida schools and wouldn’t mind staying close to home.”
