RB having another big season

Adrian Golden is an explosive running back prospect from Tarpon Springs High School in Florida. Golden, 5-9 and 185 pounds, transferred during the off-season from Gulf High School. There, he broke the single season rushing record (2,514 yards and 35 touchdowns) for Pasco County. He may not be putting up those kinds of numbers this year but he's still one of the top backs in the area.
"I have been hurt since the first game," Golden said. "First it was a hip injury then it lead to a lower back injury. But I haven't missed much. I am playing good and doing well. I feel much better.

"I like it here at Tarpon (Springs). It's kind of better. I grew up with these guys and my family is here. My head coach coached my dad. I am just more comfortable here."
So far this season Golden has rushed for 1,100 yards on 100 carries. He has 11 touchdowns, nine rushing, one kick return and one receiving.
In regards to recruiting, Golden is still waiting on his fist scholarship offer.
"My transcripts were messed up and now they are fixed. UCF, Iowa State, Troy, USF and Bowling Green are some schools I am hearing from. But no one has really seen what I did last year. Those were some good highlights so this season is like a fresh beginning for me."
Tarpon Springs is 7-2. They are district champs (4-0). They play Clearwater this Friday to finish their regular season. They are slated to play Lake Weir in the first round of the playoffs.
