RB Harbison gaining steam

Tre Harbison of Shelby (N.C.) Crest has been receiving a lot of interest from ACC, SEC and Big Ten teams. The junior running back said a few things that he likes about the four schools showing the most interest in him.
"Wake Forest is an amazing school and the coaches there show a lot of love," said the 5-foot-11, 210-pound Harbison. "They will definitely make my top schools whenever that comes. North Carolina is the first school that offered me so that will always stick to me in a way and they have an amazing campus and staff. N.C. State is a great place with good coaches and a great environment to play in. Virginia their coaches showed me love and I'm planning on visiting soon so I'll tell you more about it when I visit."

Harbison said that Boston College, Purdue and Vanderbilt are also recruiting him hard and neither of them have offered him a scholarship yet. He does not have any favorite schools right now and he is wide open to everybody.
Some of the other schools that could come into consideration for Harbison include South Carolina, Kentucky and Pittsburgh. The latest offer that he received was from Boston College and he knows a few things about the school.
"Boston College has a good team and I'm starting to get a good feel for coach Washington," he said. "They offered me as an athlete which is interesting."
Harbison's most recent visit was to N.C. State last month for the Florida State game.
"That they have a good thing going on and a team on the rise," Harbison said. "It's a unique atmosphere."
Harbison does not have any visits planned right now. He does not want to announce his commitment decision until he is 100 percent sure.
He has 90 carries for 810 yards and 17 touchdowns this season.
