RB from Clarksville now has 3 offers

Lonta Hobbs, who is the running back from Clarksville High School in Texas has 64 carries for 584 yards and five touchdowns in the five games, that they have played this season.
The 6-foot-0, 210 pound running back now has offers from UCLA, Texas Christian and Texas-El Paso.

He is getting contact from Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech, as well as Texas, who is recruiting him as a defensive back. His decision will come in late October or early November.
"I'm looking at the environment and graduation rate as education is most important. A comfortable atmosphere and good facilities will also weigh in my decision," Lonta said.
If he had to make his official visits, they would be to the following (his comments follow):
Texas Christian - (official visit set for October 20th) - "The recruiting coach is a great guy on the phone, so I'd like to see the facilities and what they have to offer."
Oklahoma - "It was recommended by a former player from here."
Texas A&M - "The 12th man tradition, the academic support and graduation rate are great."
UCLA - "Their coach is a nice guy and it would be out there to get out of state."
Texas Tech - "It was recommended by our high school football commentator, who attended there."
Of his strong points Lonta said - "I have good moves and exceptional breakaway speed with good hands receiving out of the backfield. I could also do some power running."
He describes himself as - "A good all around back."
He plans to major in business and said of his sports objectives, "I don't really know, as education comes first. I'm just going to let the sports happen as it comes."
