RB Foster lands another Big Ten offer

Oak Lawn, Ill. running back prospect Dion Foster (5-foot-9, 180 pounds) has added his second scholarship from the Big Ten conference this spring.

“I have received a scholarship offer from Purdue University," Dion Foster said. “I got the paperwork in the mail late last week. I'm pretty excited about getting an offer from Purdue."

Foster, who already had an earlier offer from the University of Illinois, is going to check out what the Boilermakers have to offer later this spring. "I told Coach (Mark) Hagen when I called him that I was going to try to get out to a spring practice at Purdue during my spring break. I'm really interested in seeing Purdue up close soon."

Foster also has one spring game penciled in this spring. "I'm going to the Wisconsin spring game on April 10th."

Has any new schools been trying to capture Foster's attention? "I'm still getting a lot of hand-written mail from Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan. Northern Illinois has also started to send me hand-written mail as well."
