RB Fleming discusses visits

Charlotte (N.C.) Independence running back Nyjee Fleming is planning to take some unofficial visits soon. Where is the 5-foot-10, 184-pounder planning to head?
"Well, I'm going to Virginia soon, next weekend or the week after," he said. "Then, I have a camp schedule for Florida and I'm going to go down there.

"I'm trying to visit as many colleges as I can."
Fleming claims three scholarships at this time from Virginia, NC State and East Carolina.
Do any schools lead?
"Right now Virginia is probably my top choice," he said. "Then, I have South Carolina, Miami and Notre Dame up there as well.
"Virginia is sticking out just because I feel like I connected great with their coaches and the academics are good at Virginia. They seem to embrace me well."
Fleming is coming off an impressive performance at the Shrine Bowl combine on Saturday.
"It was great," he said. "I ran a 4.41 in the 40 and a 4.38 shuttle. I felt I did great in one-on-ones. I think I still could have done better in my shuttle though."
In the meantime, Fleming is keeping busy running track.
"I'm doing good," he said. "I'm running the 4x1, 4x2, 100 and 200. I don't think our team has lost a track meet yet. In my first three events I've placed in the 4x1, 100 and 200."
