RB favors the Tide

Demond Dennis is one of the top running back prospects from the state of Georgia. Dennis, 5-10 and 188 pounds, is from Atlanta (Ga.) Carver High School. Last season as a junior he rushed for over 1,600 yards and 13 scores. Dennis is a gifted runner, showing good speed, balance and elusiveness.
"I think I have good speed and quickness," Dennis said. "I believe I am just an explosive back. I just need to continue to work on the little things."

According to Dennis he has scholarship offers from four schools - Alabama, Auburn, East Carolina, and Miami (Ohio).
"Right now Alabama leads. I like coach (Nick) Saban. I met him there at a Junior Day and I liked him a lot. He's cool and they seem like they really want me. Plus, Alabama is close to home so I would have my family support. It's not too far of a drive for them."
Clemson, Florida and Auburn are also in the mix.
"Clemson is a school I really like and they have some great backs there.
"Florida is a school that has nice facilities. I like the coaches and it's close to home as well.
"I know Auburn is changing up their offense and they will now run the spread. I loved Cadillac Williams while he was there and that's why I wear No. 24.
"I would love to pick a school where I could stay close to home."
Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and UCF are schools that Dennis has already taken unofficial visits to. He might visit Purdue and Miami (Ohio) this summer.
