Lafayette (La.) High running back Jasper Faulk doesn’t have any offers yet, but most assume he’ll follow his cousin (Kevin) and uncle (Trev) to LSU. While that may eventually happen, Jasper is keeping things wide open.
“I like Michigan, Auburn, LSU, Southern Mississippi and Notre Dame,” the 6-foot, 180-pounder said. “LSU is interesting to me because of the family tradition and all, but I also really like Michigan and the others. I plan on visiting them all.”
Faulk rushed for 1,300+ yards last season with 22 touchdowns. He was recently timed in the 40-yard dash in 4.34 seconds and is very strong as well. Faulk bench presses 290 pounds and squats 530. He plans on making his decision before signing day but is not sure when.
“If one of my favorite schools came in and offered, I’d think about committing,” he said. “It depends on the situation.”
