RB Carter earns first offer

Running back Brent Carter out of Pottstown (Pa.) Pottsgrove is one of the top backs coming out of Pennsylvania in 2006. He recently took an unofficial visit to Rutgers and also received his first offer.
"It was really nice at Rutgers, I like the facilities," he said. "Their coaching staff really stuck out, but also how they help you out with the educational system is good too."

The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder was looking at making junior day visits to Virginia and Penn State, but conflicts came up. Carter recently received his first offer from North Carolina. He has also received interest from Louisville, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue and Rutgers.
This spring Carter plans on taking in combines at Penn State (NIKE) and the Adidas Combine in Pittsburgh. He is also considering attending the Blue Chip Combine at Rutgers in May.
