RB Carrington makes his decision

Bealeton (Va.) Liberty running back Justin Carrington said he was going to decide this week between Indiana, the team he had committed to earlier in the process, South Carolina and Miami (Ohio). So who won out for the 6-foot-0, 195-pounder?
"Justin re-committed to Indiana," said Liberty head coach Tommy Buzzo. "Justin went home last night from basketball practice and was greeted by Indiana's head coach, Terry Hoeppner and running backs coach Gerald Brown. I believe the idea of playing sooner, their persistence in the recruiting, and the location of the school won him over."

Carrington could have also played early at Miami (Ohio) while Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks wanted him to prep a year and enroll in 2006.
"Indiana, according to Justin, recruited him by far the hardest," said Buzzo. "Indiana also just had a running back leave school and Justin will be considered for playing time next year."
Carrington also had other offers to consider.
"Justin chose Indiana over offers from South Carolina, Ohio University, Toledo, Bowling Green, Navy, Army, Miami (Ohio), Temple, James Madison and Elon." Buzzo said.
He ran a 4.47-second 40-yard dash at the NIKE Camp in State College, Pa. this past May and had an excellent shuttle time of 4.08 seconds as well.
