RB Adams takes break from recruiting

Cary, N.C. running back Josh Adams hasn't begun to think about official visits and instead is focusing on the upcoming season with his teammates.
"I'm just getting ready for the season," he said. "I want to go out and have fun this year and do what I normally do to help the team. I'm just looking to be an all-around team player. Beyond that I just want to stay healthy and come out on top statistically in the league."

The Rivals250 prospect doesn't have any leaders at this point, but did say he is looking at the schools that have offered.
"I'm really going with the people that have offered me," he said. "I've got 12 offers from North Carolina State, UNC, Wake Forest, Duke, Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson, LSU, Oklahoma State, Maryland, UVA and ECU. I plan to take all five official visits if it's possible, but most likely I'll try to do it after the season if I can help it."
Adams plans to wait it out a decision until Signing Day.
The No. 3 prospect in North Carolina will keep close attention to the teams he is looking at this season.
"I'm going to watch their running game to see how much they run and throw the ball," he said. "That's really what I'll be looking at from these teams this year."
Adams was named all-state after rushing for 2,884 yards and 26 touchdowns a year ago.
