Ray thinking about Canes

La Marque, Texas nasty boy Michael Ray, who works and lives minutes from the Gulf Coast, is hoping for a Hurricane.
An offer from the Miami Hurricanes that is.

Ray (6-3, 245-pounds) claims offers from the likes of Kansas, Baylor, Houston, UTEP and Florida, but has dreamt of playing in south Florida.
"Miami hasn't offered yet, but I'm hoping it happens this summer or in the fall," Ray said. I like all the other schools who have offered, but I'm hooked on the Hurricanes."
Outside of the Hurricanes, Ray is also being courted by Texas A&M, Texas and Texas Tech on both sides of the ball.
"I like offense and defensive lines about the same for different reasons," Ray said. "But I'll play wherever I get the opportunity."
The multi-talented Ray also starts for the Cougar varsity basketball team, reached the regional track meet in the shot put and discus and makes a mean fried chicken.
"I've been working with my mom at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Galveston, which has been pretty cool," Ray said. "I've been making some money and working out at school also."
For several schools, Ray is finger-licking good.
