After having only one trip set up previously, Houston Jersey Village three-star tight end Gabe Ratcliff has lined up all five of his official visits. Other than previously setup Missouri, who else made the list for the 6-foot-3, 230-pound tight end?
“I’m going up to Missouri this weekend,” Ratcliff, ranked as the nation’s No. 15 tight end by Rivals.com, said. “Then I’m going to Texas on the 12th. Then in January, I’m going to TCU on January 9, Arkansas on January 16 and then North Carolina on January 23.”
Ratcliff said he is also somewhat considering Texas A&M. He was at the A&M-Texas game this past weekend in College Station.
“It was all right,” Ratcliff said. “You all know what I think about Texas. They’ve been No. 1 on my list for a long, long time. I also liked what I saw from A&M. They threw it around a little bit and seemed like they could be good in a few years.”
Ratcliff said he’s excited about his first visit this weekend to Missouri.
“I know it’s going to be fun,” he said. “I’ve been waiting on these visits for a long time.”
Ratcliff also said he hopes to hear good news from Texas when he visits Austin the second weekend in December.
“I’m thinking that’s when I’m going to get my offer,” he said.
