2. LSUÂ
The other school in Langston’s public top two, LSU has seemed like a serious option at times over the last six months. That said, the Rivals250 prospect will have to return to campus for the Tigers to make a serious push to topple Florida. LSU’s appeal is obvious, so it should not be counted out completely. That said, the gap between Florida and Ed Orgeron’s program seems to be a large one. Could that change? Sure, but it seems unlikely.
3. THE FIELDÂ
Florida and LSU are officially Langston’s final two, but the opportunity for a twist exists. Langston’s high school, Ocala Vanguard, has produced a few top-flight prospects with wild recruitments in recent years (Leonard Manuel, Justin Watkins), and the chance for Langston to become the next exists. The longer this saga drags on, the more likely it becomes that a sleeper school or two emerges. Yes, the Tigers and Gators are by far the most likely landing places, but nobody will be totally floored if a late twist shows up to change things.
