Randle El reflects on UW commitment

The Wisconsin Badgers landed a big commitment on Monday evening when Marcus Randle El selected Wisconsin over Indiana.
"Coach Alvarez, coach Horton, the defensive line coach, and I believe the defensive coordinator were all here," Randle El said. "I liked a lot of things they said."

"I talked to coach Alvarez to see if I'd get a chance to play quarterback there. He said I would. I'll go there as a quarterback slash athlete."
"I'd like to play quarterback, but if not that's O.K. It could be as a slot receiver. If that happens I'll deal with that then."
"The winning program at Wisconsin was important too."
The 5-foot-10 and 175 pound Randle El, from Harvey (Ill.) Thornton Twp., passed for 1200 yards and 16 touchdowns, and also rushed for 1000 and 13 scores. He is the Rivals.com number 15 athlete prospect with a three star rating. Randle El made official visits to Wisconsin, Indiana, and Wake Forest.
