Marcus Randle El, who's listed as an athlete will get every opportunity to play quarterback for the Badgers. "I just want a chance to try and prove myself at quarterback. I told him (Barry Alvarez) that I want to come in and work hard, and that I want to at least have a fair chance to show the coaches what I can do as a quarterback. I'm confident that the coaches at Wisconsin will give me that chance."
Randle El's final school choice came down to Wisconsin and Indiana. "Indiana definitely gave me alot to think about, and especially since my brothers played for the Hoosiers. Last night I just tuned everything out and I sat in my room and really gave everything alot of thought, thought about the pro's and con's of each school and each situation, and in the end Wisconsin was the place I wanted to be."
"I would say that a few different factors helped me decided on Wisconsin. First of all, they are a winning program and I wanted to be a part of that, and also the academic support at Wisconsin was also very impressive as well."
Randle El added that "my family is totally supportive of my decision. They are really happy that I took my time to make my decision. I'm a solid verbal to Wisconsin."
