Rams lead for Oklahoma DT

Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert defensive tackle Pierre Alexander is one of the better linemen in the Sooner State. At 6-foot-1 and 275 pounds, he had 53 tackles and four sacks in 2007, helping him earn all-area honors as a junior.
"I'd say my biggest strength is off the line, my fire off power," he said. "I just fire off really fast and really hard."

It's that effort and ability that has quite a few schools looking hard at him. He said one school stands out to him the most, though.
"Colorado State really sticks out to me a lot right now," he said. "I love their campus and their fields of studies."
Alexander said Louisville is another school that he's very interested in. He said the Cards found out about him by watching his film on Rivals.com.
"They said they saw it on Rivals and they loved what they saw," he said. "Tulsa is also giving me a pretty hard look. I should be taking a Tulsa visit here pretty soon. I've been going to the OU camps a lot, too, so I'll probably do that this summer again."
Alexander said climate and school size will be important in his decision.
