Rains takes in two camps

In the past week, running back Jared Rains out of Aliquippa (Pa.) Hopewell has attended two camps. The 5-foot-10, 181-pounder headed to West Virginia followed by Pittsburgh.
"I just went to West Virginia's camp and then down to Pittsburgh on Saturday. Those are the only two I've been to so far," he said. "West Virginia was good, I liked it. I talked to the coaches a little bit and they seem interested.

"As for Pittsburgh, I was there for half a day and did a workout and some drills for a couple of the coaches. I talked to their staff a lot and they were saying that they just wanted to see me backpedal since they are looking at me as a safety. I did get to talk to coach Wannstedt a bit too and he said I'll hear from them in a few days if anything happens."
At this time, Rains isn't sure if he'll be headed to any other camps this summer.
Currently the Keystone State tailback holds two offers from Ohio and Cincinnati. Does he have any favorites?
"I'm open still to everything," he said. "I'm just looking at where I feel the most comfortable with the coaches."
Rains went on to state he isn't looking at making a decision anytime soon.
"I probably will wait a little longer," he said. "I plan to take some officials this fall."
