Rain sets first official trip

Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt offensive guard Quincy Rain has one high school football game remaining in his career, then it will be time to set his sights on the next level. He has played his games on Saturdays, so visits have been hard to schedule, but with the end of the season in view, he has his first trip lined up.
Rain is scheduled to visit to Temple on Dec. 12 and has discussed setting a trip to Purdue, but has not set a date yet. He already attended the Temple - Boston College game unofficially.

Rain has one scholarship offer in hand, but is hoping to receive others before making his final decision.
“Temple has offered,” he commented. “I am still wanting offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Michigan State, Virginia, and Maryland, though.”
Rain stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 290-pounds. He also has impressive speed for a big man, with a 4.97 forty-yard dash time. In leading his team to a 5-3 record he has tallied five sacks and a "lot of tackles" from the defensive tackle position.
Rain has some work to do in the classroom to become academically eligible and is scheduled to take the SAT in December. He wants to major in business or marketing.
