Ragin starting to look at visits

Johnny Ragin III is slowly picking up offers and a few major programs are showing interest as his senior season continues.
The Wilsonville, Ore., outside linebacker recently picked up an offer from Colorado and he said an official visit to Oregon State is being planned. BYU and Wyoming have also offered.

"The (Oregon State) official isn't planned yet but we're looking to take that official," Ragin said.
"They're a great school along with BYU and I watched the game (Saturday) just to get a good feel for both defenses. I'm definitely looking forward to that visit."
Notre Dame, Michigan State, LSU, Auburn, Boise State, Nevada and most of the Pac-12 have reached out to Ragin, who plans to visit Oregon State with Wilsonville teammate Tanner Shipley.
With all the extra attention, Ragin said it's big for his recruitment but he also wants to keep his focus on his team and the upcoming playoffs.
"It's definitely a motivator," Ragin said. "I have to keep doing my job, help my team out and really focus on winning a state championship."
A visit to BYU is also being seriously considered for Ragin, rated as the fourth-best player in the Oregon state rankings by Rivals.com. The Cougars offered earlier in his recruitment and he wants to check out his options at that school before making any decisions.
"I definitely want to get out to a BYU game before the season ends as well so I'm going to see what I can work out with the coaches there," Ragin said.
"When a couple other schools come into play or I get more offers then I'll think about taking some officials then."
