Ragas shakes up top schools

Marrero (La.) Archbishop Shaw running back Trey Ragas has talked about trying to make a decision during the season. He has not reached that point yet, but he has had a little bit of a shake-up in his top schools.

THE LATEST: Kansas, Utah, Southern Miss, and ULL have been among Ragas' favorites for awhile now, but now Arkansas has jumped onto the short list. The Razorbacks have not offered, but significant interest has arrived. He plans to take an unofficial visit to ULL over the weekend.

IN HIS WORDS: On where things stand with his recruiting process: "It's still about the same. I'm still thinking about making a decision soon."

RIVALS' REACTION: The interest from Arkansas has Ragas' attention. ULL is the only Louisiana school among his favorites right now, and it will be his first unofficial visit of the season. Ragas is taking things day-by-day, but he has been talking about making a decision soon since the start of the season. If Arkansas comes through with an offer, it would not surprise if it jump to the top of the list.
