Moorestown, N.J. offensive tackle Shane Rafter has a pair of offers to date. The 6-foot-5, 284-pounder discussed the scholarships and interest he's developing.
"I have offers from Bowling Green and Temple," he said. "I have serious interest from UMass, Buffalo, Old Dominion and Duke so far. I'm planning to go to spring games at Rutgers and Connecticut."
Rafter discussed the Bowling Green and Temple scholarships.
"I really like both schools equally," he said. "Both are great campuses and have great coaching staffs. I like the atmosphere of their football programs."
Meanwhile, other schools are highly interested.
"Many of the other schools are going to keep in touch," he said. "They all tell me they are really serious about me and plan to visit me at school."
At this time, Rafter claims no favorites.
"I just want a good football program, a coaching staff that I like and a good college atmosphere for the next four or five years."
As a junior, Rafter played both ways, posting 70 tackles and two sacks.
"I think my work ethic sticks out and I'm always going 100%," he said. "I'm working out 100% and I never let up."
