Rachal Shuffles Visit Dates

Compton (Calif.) Dominguez offensive lineman Chilo Rachal has made some changes to his upcoming visit list and will now trip this weekend to USC.

"I was going to visit UCLA but I'm going to move that one back to (Jan. 23)," Rachal said. "USC called and said they really want me to come in this weekend. I guess this is their big weekend and they have a lot of top guys coming in like Eugene (Germany), Rocky (Hinds), Cameron (Colvin) and a few others. They want me to help work on some of those guys. At first I didn't think I needed to visit USC officially because I've been there so many times but they want me there and my mom thinks I should visit as well.

"Michigan called me again today and I'm going to take that visit (Jan 30). Thomas (Herring) told me he really liked it there and Ron English has been recruiting me pretty hard lately. Cal has been on me hard as well and Coach Tedford and about three others coaches will be coming in for a home visit tonight. Michigan is coming for a home visit Thursday. I'm not sure who else is coming in right now.

Rachal has already visited San Diego State and was at Washington this past weekend.

"That was a great trip, I'm still kind of buzzing about it," Rachal said. "I had a great time and I'm looking forward to taking the rest of my trips to see how they compare with my visit to Washington. USC will be cool because it's like home and I'm looking forward to checking out UCLA and Michigan as well."
