Rachal Ready For 1st Official Visit

Compton (Calif.) Dominguez offensive lineman and USC commit Chilo Rachal will take his first official visit of the year this weekend when he heads up the 405 S to San Diego State.

“It should be fun, I had a great time there on an unofficial visit during the season,” Rachal said. “It’s a nice area and the coaches have been really good to me. Andy Buh (LB coach) has been recruiting me and he came in for a home visit last week. My parents really liked him so I’m looking forward to taking this visit and seeing more of the school.

“I also set up a trip to Oregon (Jan. 9) and Washington (Jan. 16) and will probably visit USC last on January 23. I may flip flop the Oregon and Washington trips because Thomas (Herring) and I wanted to visit Washington together and I think he might be going on the 9th. I’m still committed to USC but I’m just taking my trips for the fun of it and to see what else is out there. I’m a Trojan though, it’s where I want to be.”
