Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood offensive lineman Stephon Heyer went into his visit this weekend leaning toward Michigan? Is he still after visiting UGA?
"I tell you what, I was very tempted to commit while I was sitting there talking to coach Richt with my mother," Heyer, who is 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, said.
"But I've decided to take a few more days and weigh my options. I really like Georgia and Michigan, and I can't forget about Maryland, too."
Heyer said a few of the most impressive things were the academics at UGA.
"I got to meet with the business professors and talk to them about what fields I can pursue," Heyer said. "I was also impressed at the academic support that you'd get if you go there."
Heyer said George Foster hosted him.
"He's cool and honest," Heyer said. "I didn't realize that they needed offensive linemen that bad."
Georgia coach Mark Richt is scheduled to make an in-home visit with Heyer later this week. Maryland has already been in home with all of its coaches and he wasn't sure when Michigan would be in again.
