Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Dwyer wideout Johnnie Dixon has been very busy this month taking official visits. He enjoyed a much needed travel break this past weekend after consecutive trips to Arkansas and N.C. State.
Dixon visited Raleigh two weeks ago for the Wolfpack's game against FCS-foe Richmond, and it went quite well.
"The visit was great," noted Dixon. "Everything about it. I can do a lot in the offense and (defensive backs) coach (Richard) McNutt is my dude. It was a 10."
Last week he was in Fayetteville for the Razorbacks' win over Southern Miss.
"That trip was great too," Dixon said. "Coach (Charlie) Partridge is great. Their offense really couldn't throw the ball because the starting quarterback went down."
Dixon said that conference affiliation isn't a big concern for him.
Next up is a visit to Columbus next weekend for the Buckeyes' tilt with Wisconsin. The Rivals250 presented by Under Armour athlete has visited Ohio State before, but he is looking forward to seeing the gameday atmosphere.
"I've already been there before," Dixon said. "I just want to see the team. My mom is going with me."
The No. 16 rated pass-catcher said he doesn't have a leader at this stage. However, he feels Alabama, Arkansas, Miami, and Ohio State are recruiting him the hardest.
He will take his official visit to Tuscaloosa when the 'Tide take on LSU on November 9.
