Rivals250 wide receiver Jamil Kamara has had a busy few weeks. The Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan star has been working on ordering his top schools, but the addition of new offers is complicating the situation.
Kamara has already taken official visits to Wisconsin and Michigan State.
"Everything went well with them," said the 6-foot-1, 202-pound Kamara. "Both had good impressions on me. Wisconsin is probably the leader right now and Michigan State is still one of my top schools."
Virginia, Pittsburgh, South Carolina and USC are a few of Kamara's other top options.
"Pittsburgh is still one of my top schools," he said. "They're probably right behind Wisconsin right now. I'm trying to set up an official visit to Pittsburgh.
"I've set up an official visit South Carolina for November 29, but Pittsburgh wants me to come up that weekend also. I probably can't go that weekend, so it will come down to Virginia or Pittsburgh for the visit on December 6. I need to make a decision on which one I want to go to. The one I don't go to is probably going to be out.
Kamara said he tried to get in touch with USC, but had to leave a message. He's interested in the Trojans and his recruiting landscape could be altered if they offer.
"USC could change a lot of things," he said. "They will definitely get a visit if they offer."
Up next for Kamara is an official visit to South Carolina.
"I'm giving South Carolina a good look right now," said Kamara. "It's the SEC and they say they have a spot for me on the team. I'm going to sit down with the coaches and see what's up with them."
Corwin Cutler, aka "Turtle", has been one of best recruiters for Virginia, but the Cavs could be fading.
"Virginia isn't having the best season right now," he said. "I want to go to a winning program. Turtle is the biggest factor for me right now. That's the main thing that's keeping UVA close right now. I'd have to really look at Virginia closer if Turtle would be starting. If he wouldn't be starting, I couldn't go there."
Kamara summed up his current situation perfectly.
"There's a lot up in the air and there isn't much more time."
