Per his dad, #Rivals250 WR Grant Holloway will commit on Thurs @ 4:30 @ his school https://t.co/Sd8mvwS2sw #UGA & #UF finalists @Rivalsmike- Adam Friedman (@RivalsFriedman) November 16, 2015
WHAT'S NEXT?: Holloway plans to commit on Thursday at 4:30 at his school.
IN HIS WORDS: "I narrowed it down to University of Florida and University of Georgia," Holloway said. "I took my official visit to Florida for track and got to do everything that track and football players would do. I got the best of both worlds. I had already done an official visit to Georgia so I wanted to do a visit to Florida. September 25 was when I went down to Florida.
"I want an elite track program and a big time football program," he said. "I'm not basing my decision off of other recruits. I just want somewhere I can fit in right away and try to impact the wide receiver position and on the track my freshman year.
"For track my best opportunity would be Florida but for football I believe it would be Georgia," said Holloway. "I talk to coaches on both sides. The head coach of track and field, coach Holloway, keeps me in touch with the football coaches. I'm talked to Coach McClendon and coach Richt at Georgia."
RIVALS' REACTION: The deciding factor for Holloway is whether or not he sees himself more as a track athlete or a football player. He is just as big a recruit, if not a bigger recruit, on the track as he is on the football field. Many people believe Holloway is destined to compete in the Olympics and he has said that is one of his goals.
