R250 to Watch TE likes five

Miami (Fla.) Westminster Christian tight end Devonaire Clarington recently attended the Canes-Gators game along with close to one hundred recruits and it went as expected according to Clarington.
Next up is a visit to Gainesville for the Florida-Vanderbilt game on November 9 during his bye week. Clarington likes the Gators, but he will be watching the Commodores closely. "My cousin plays for Vanderbilt, No. 1 Kenny Ladler," remarked Clarington.

The Rivals250 to Watch pass-catcher named a top five of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Miami, and Notre Dame. He said all the schools are even, but UF stays in touch with him more than the others.
"The one that is recruiting me the hardest is Florida," stated Clarington. "Coach Muschamp and Travaris Robinson came by our game last week against Village Academy and I was surprised by that. I always liked Florida. They have a great history just like UM."
The jumbo tight end wants to decide before the start of his senior year. He says playing time will be key in his decision.
"My first year I don't expect to start," noted Clarington. "I expect to get on the field a little bit and get some experience."
He grew up a fan of Randy Moss and sees a lot of himself in the former NFL wideout. Clarington said, "Even the greatest players have criticisms. I have people talking about me how soft I catch the ball and I catch the ball with my chest. I will use it as motivation."
This season he has snagged eleven passes for 171 yards good for 15.5 yards per catch to go with four touchdowns. His team is 2-1. Last fall at Miami (Fla.) Southridge, he caught eighteen passes for 251 yards and a touchdown.
