R250 OL Williams sets visits

Rivals250 offensive lineman Jauan Williams' recruitment is about to hit another gear. The Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll stand out visited Maryland earlier this week and is going on the road to visit two of the nation's most prestigious programs this weekend.
"We got to Maryland and got our tickets before we got on a bus," said the 6-foot-6, 291-pound Williams. "There were a lot of players there that we knew. We all got something to eat, played some games and watch the game. We were talking to some of the coaches and coach Locksley and some of the other players that we know.

"Right now Maryland is right there with everybody else," he said. "I'm keeping my options open but I love Maryland like everybody else. They are still recruiting me a lot. Coach Edsall and catch Locksley are great coaches."
This weekend kicks off three straight visit weekends for Williams.
"Right now were looking forward to visiting Alabama and Auburn this weekend," Williams said. "I'll be there for Alabama's junior day.
"Penn State really wanted me to make it up there this weekend but I can make it," he said. "Next weekend I'm going to the Duke game at North Carolina. The following weekend I might go to Penn State."
Williams is planning on releasing his list of top schools further down the road but there are some schools he is in touch with more than others.
"I talk to Don Mahoney at Tennessee a lot," said Williams. "I call him every once in a while. Coach Tricktt from Florida State and I are very close. He calls my coach pretty much every morning about us. He is very persistent and I love him. Coach Grimes at LSU is a great coach that I also keep in touch with. Just the other night I was talking to coach Cristobal at Alabama. I love coach Warinner from Ohio State too. He's a funny guy."
Williams will play in the upcoming Under Armour All-America Game.
