R250 OL Gonzalez updates top 7

Rivals250 offensive lineman Steven Gonzalez is making sure to do a lot of research on each school that offers him. The star out of Union City (N.J.) updated the order of his top seven after a recent visit.
"In order, my top seven schools are Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Boston College and Duke," said the 6-foot-4, 321-pound Gonzalez. "I'm really focused on those right now because they offered."

Gonzalez broke down where each school stands with him right now.
Ohio State: "Things have been going well with Ohio State," he said. "I'm communicating with them pretty regularly. I'm probably going to go Ohio State in the spring. Right now I feel like the coach I'm closest with is coach Warinner."
Penn State: "I'm getting closer with then new Penn State staff," Gonzalez said. "I'm talking to coach Rahne a lot and coach Hand too. It's going pretty well. I'm most likely going to Penn State on March 28. I've seen Penn State a couple of times but I really want to see the coaches in person. I want to see how the operate a practice."
Rutgers: "I actually like the new offensive line coach at Rutgers and I really like coach Friedgen," he said. "I really connected well with them and I can't wait to build my relationship with them. I was down there on March 1. It was a great time."
Wisconsin: "I'm getting used to the new Wisconsin coach that is recruiting me" said Gonzalez. "I'm talking to him more and trying to build a relationship with him."
South Carolina: "Coach Mangus and I have been talking a lot," he said. "I'm thinking about going down there possibly in the summer."
Boston College: "I'm thinking about going up to Boston College in the spring," Gonzalez said. "I've been talking to them a lot as well."
Duke: "They are still in contention but I haven't really talked to them a lot recently," he said. "I've been trying to stay close with them."
Gonzalez said that he thinks Miami and Oregon could be close to offering.
