R250 OL Burrell recaps OSU visit

One of the highest rated visitors Ohio State hosted last weekend was Rivals250 offensive lineman Matthew Burrell Jr.. The Woodbridge (Va.) C. D. Hylton stand out had a great time while he was in Columbus.
"First we met up with coach Smith and we just sat down a talked for a while," said the 6-foot-4, 286-pound Burrell. "We also talked to coach Meyer for a little bit but he had to go to a banquet.

"The next day I was with coach Meyer for most of the day," he said. "Pretty much the whole coaching staff and I went on a tour of the campus and we went to the stadium. After that, we sat down with coach Meyer for about an hour and it was great. The weight program, Coach Meyer and the other coaches really stood out."
Ohio State clearly made a very good impression on Burrell and has positioned themselves as the school he will compare all others to.
"Ohio State has been under consideration the whole time," Burrell said. "On these other visits when I go down south I'll be thinking about Ohio State and what one has that the other doesn't. It'll be easier to compare to see what I want."
Burrell has about 40 scholarship offers and taken a ton of visits but the future is slightly foggy for Burrell right now.
"I'm not sure what's next but we're playing it by ear," he said. "I'm not ready to name my top schools yet but it's getting closer."
Some of Burrell's notable offers are Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, Penn State, South Carolina and many others.
