Nearly every recruit that has met the Penn State coaching staff, including Burrell, has come away very impressed.
"The coaches were very high energy," he said. "They have this type of charisma, especially coach Franklin. He can motivate anyone and get them focused. He's just that type of person. The coaching staff reflects his personality. They make football fun and that's what it's supposed to be about.
"This was my first time meeting coach Hand," Burrell said. "My dad and I both got to sit down with him and talk to him face to face. All three of us fit together really well and he is a great guy."
Burrell is one of the most highly coveted prospects in the country but it will still take some time for him to make cuts to his extensive offer sheet.
"We're definitely going to take more visits and start to narrow things down," he said. "I'm going to narrow it down at some point I just don't know when. We'll take more visits and talk about everything as a family. I need to make sure I finish out school well too. I think we'll go back to Penn State some time to get a closer look.
Burrell is making sure he gives each school a fair chance, talking to coaches from each of them.
"I talk to coaches from all the schools a lot," said Burrell. "My Twitter and Facebook are messages are busting out at the seams. I've talked to LSU, South Carolina, Miami, Auburn, Texas and really everyone I have offers from. I talk to coach Cristobal from Alabama almost every week now. Everybody has been recruiting me harder than before."
As of now Burrell does not have any other visits scheduled.
