R250 Okwara breaks down Clemson offer

Rivals250 prospect Julian Okwara visited Clemson on Saturday and the visit went so well that the Tigers offered the Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell stand out on Sunday evening.
"I went up there with one of my coaches and one of my teammates," said the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Okwara. "We watched some practice and was pretty fun watching them do drills. Then we went upstairs and ate lunch and we took a tour of the campus, facilities and the weight room. We saw everything they were doing with the indoor stadium. Then we went upstairs and talked to the coaches.

"I talked to the defensive coordinator, the defensive line coach and coach Pearman," he said. Coach Pearman and coach Hobby were talking to me during the tour. We talked about how they were going to use me and how I fit into that Vic Beasley position."
Okwara believes that Clemson would do a very good job of getting his body ready for college and NFL game.
"When we went into the weight room I got to talk to the strength and conditioning coaches," Okwara said. "They told me a lot about how they get their players developed and how they use heart rate monitors to help their players and keep them safe. Their whole attitude is pretty cool."
It's no secret Okwara has been following Clemson for a long time and it sounds like they are very close to the top of his list.
"It means a lot because they were in the meeting talking about me," he said. "I'm interested in the school and they're pretty high for me.
"Notre Dame stands out and I want to take a visit to Ole Miss and LSU. I've been to Clemson and Notre Dame and I want to take some visits to some other schools and go from there. I was always interested in Notre Dame and having watched Clemson games and them offering me tonight, it was pretty cool. I don't have any real top schools right now. I'm still figuring some things out."
As a junior Okwara recorded 90 tackles, 10 sacks and knocked down five passes.
