Former Florida commit Anthony Moten has his sights set on five schools following his decommitment.
Moten told Rivals.com that his current top five consists of Miami, Florida State, South Carolina, Notre Dame, and Michigan State.
The Gamecocks and Fighting Irish both have players committed from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas. Last month, Moten's teammates, Corey Holmes verbally pledged to Notre Dame and Al Harris, Jr. announced for South Carolina, respectively.
Moten admits both players are recruiting him hard to their respective schools.
"Corey wants me to go there (Notre Dame) so bad," Moten said. "Madre (London) really likes Michigan State, so he is talking about them. Al committed to South Carolina and we go way back."
Not only does Moten have pressure at practice daily, he has pressure at home too. His cousin played at Florida and after he decommitted his parents received a call from the Gator alum.
"He was at the wedding (during the Florida Friday Night Lights camp) and we didn't talk to each other," stated Moten. "He was upset that I decommitted and he had been calling my mom and dad to ask what happened."
Of the five schools on his list the Seminoles are standing out the most according to the Rivals250 defensive lineman.
"They are after me a lot," noted Moten. "I really like Florida State. I've liked them since I was fan, so I feel that would be even better for me."
Moten plans to make a final decision after his official visits.
"The first time I rushed it," Moten said. "This time I'm going to take my time."
As a junior, Moten helped lead St. Thomas to the Class 7A state championship.
