The plan is to visit Tallahassee when the Seminoles take on in-state rival Miami on November 2. It's the only official visit Harris has set up right now.
The 'Noles and Harris seem like a perfect match. Head coach Jimbo Fisher and tight ends coach Tim Brewster, who recruits South Florida for FSU, were in attendance for his team's big win.
His relationship with Fisher and Brewster are a big reason he chose FSU over offers from Louisville, Miami, and USF.
"Those guys came to my school to wish me luck and I just love those two guys," Harris said. "They talk to me every day. I can't wait to get up there and play for them."
Harris paid close attention to the debut of Jameis Winston as he led the 'Noles to a 41-13 win over Pittsburgh. Winston completed 25 of 27 passes for 356 yards and four touchdowns while adding a rushing touchdown as well.
"Jameis proved everybody wrong," noted Harris. "Everybody wanted to know what he was going to do and he showed the country. Now he has to pick up where he left off and keep working."
Harris finished the game with 129 yards passing and three total touchdowns. He also had a message for FSU fans - as he walked off the field he yelled, "Nole Nation, stand up."
Fisher and Brewster have to be happy they landed the special talent from the backyard of rival Miami. The late-season showdown will likely have a recruiting impact on several players in attendance.
