R100 WR talks AM, UGA, more

New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton and Rivals100 wide receiver Tyron Johnson continues to let his recruitment play out without dropping many hints on which may he may be leaning.
Over the weekend Johnson was in the Atlanta area for the Pylon 7-on-7 tournament and took advantage of the trip by visiting Georgia and Clemson.

"Georgia offered me so I want to get up there and see what they're about," Johnson said prior to the trip. "I haven't been able to get up there and I wouldn't have been able to if it weren't for the tournament."
Johnson said he was also eager to visit the Tigers, especially since they were one of the first schools to show interest.
"I like Clemson," he said. "They were one of my first few offers so I really want to look into them because they looked into me and I want to give them a shot."
Two other programs that Johnson has discussed openly recently include Oregon and Texas A&M. He provided his thoughts on both schools.
Oregon: "They said they need somebody like me that can open up the field and I feel like I can definitely do that so Oregon is definitely going to be in my top schools."
Texas A&M: "They're still recruiting me hard. They're going to be a great team with the guys they have coming in and I think I would be a great fit there."
Even though he didn't say as much, LSU is thought to be in great shape with Johnson. He said that staying close to home is an appealing option, but he's not opposed to exploring other options.
"One side of my family they have the finances and stuff to travel to come see me wherever and the other side doesn't really," he said. "So it's a big argument so I don't even know. But I'm open to leaving home."
