R100 OL Dickerson releases top six

Rivals100 offensive tackle Landon Dickerson's recruitment is nearing its end. The Hudson (N.C.) South Caldwell star named Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee and Virginia Tech his top six and his decision could come any time in the next few months.

"I've kind of thrown around taking a school off my list every week or so and making a decision when I have a top two or three but I'm not sure yet," said the 6-foot-5, 297-pound Dickerson. "I'll probably have my decision during the season."
It sounds like each school has a legitimate shot at landing Dickerson.
Auburn- "I really like coach Grimes and coach Malzahn," he said. "They are always a really good football team and it's mixed with the great education I'm looking for. I visited three times. How much time coach Miles on spends with me, even when there was a camp or game going on, it makes me feel really special. It doesn't matter if there's 30 kids or 500 kids there."
Florida State- "Coach Rick Trickett and coach Fisher at Florida State are really good coaches," Dickerson said. "I really clicked with them when I went down there and coach Trickett is someone I would like to have coaching for the next four years and get me ready for the NFL."
Georgia- "At Georgia I like coach Sale," he said. "He's young but also experienced. Coach Richt is a guy you can sit down with and he is a relatable guy, not just a football coach."
Michigan- "I really like coach Drevno and coach Harbaugh at Michigan," said Dickerson. "What really sticks out to me with them is the education part. Having a great education is really big for me."
Tennessee- "Coach Mahoney and coach Jones are really good people," he said. "I think with their recruiting classes they've had I think they could have a great couple of years."
Virginia Tech- "It went great at Virginia Tech," Dickerson said. "I always like getting back up there," Dickerson said. "It's just a nice drive and I enjoy it. All the coaches are great people and we have that relationship that is so far ahead of many other teams. The education part is big and they have a good quarterback this year so I think it could go far."
Dickerson has a bust visit schedule ahead of him.
"I'll be at Michigan on September 12, Florida State on October 10 and Auburn on November 28 for official visits," he said. "I have unofficial visits set for Virginia Tech against Ohio State, Georgia against South Carolina and probably Auburn against Louisville. I'll probably take a visit to Tennessee."
Three schools seem to be in good position right now but that may not last long.
"I'd say Auburn and Virginia Tech are really up there and so is Florida State," said Dickerson. "Going on these visits could change a bunch of stuff for me."
Virginia Tech was Dickerson's most recent visit.
