After taking his official visit to Florida State, Rivals100 defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi seemed to have enjoyed his time in Tallahassee.
"I hung out with the players and I saw the city," the 6-foot-1, 299-pound Nnadi said. "It was better than I expected. I talked to Coach (Odell) Haggins, Coach (Tim) Brewster and Coach (Jimbo) Fisher. I liked talking about the defense they run. We also talked about the expectations with practice and with school. I liked what I heard."
Last weekend the Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes stand out took an official visit to Penn State.
"Penn State was pretty good too," Nnadi said. "Coach (Larry) Johnson was totally honest with me and so were the players. Coach Johnson was one of the coolest guys I met there. I had a comfortable feeling up there. Everyone loves the football team up there. Academics and football are both really important up there."
Nnadi also has official visit lined with up Ohio State on January 15 and Virginia Tech on January 24. The Seminoles and Hokies are rumored to be the top contenders for Nnadi, but he says that isn't the case.
"All the schools I'm looking at are on an equal playing field right now," said Nnadi.
Nnadi is planning on playing the Chesapeake Bowl in Virginia Beach.
