R100 DE Dalton to change top 3

A week ago at the North Carolina Freak Show Rivals100 defensive end Jalen Dalton named a top three of North Carolina, Florida State and Virginia Tech. On Friday evening at the Shrine Bowl camp in Mooresville, N.C. the Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth star updated where each of those schools stand with him.
North Carolina- "It was a good vibe at North Carolina," said the 6-foot-6, 220-pound Dalton. "There was good competition. The coaching staff and the recruits were some of the biggest things to me. They're getting some big time recruits so they can win some balls games and get to a bowl game. I know Juval and I've talked with him, Ronnie Harrison, Andre Smith and William Sweet a little bit."

Florida State- "I really like Florida State and the school," he said. "There hasn't been much communication lately so I don't know if they've lost interest or something."
Virginia Tech- "Virginia Tech's defense is always top of the line," Dalton said. "Coach Wiles has a good relationship with my parents and thy really like him. That plays a big part especially since my mom likes him. I was up there for their junior day."
Dalton admitted there is a lot of room for this list to change and two schools in particular and making a big push to move into his top group.
"I like Florida and Miami," he said. "I have a former teammate at Florida right now and I think he's going to be a junior. He tells me positive things about it and I had a good time when I visited last summer. They have a beautiful campus.
"Miami has a great campus also but I've only seen pictures," said Dalton. "I really want to get down there. I talk to coach Franklin and another coach down there. They tell me what's going on at the campus and it's just a casual conversation. Some times we talk about what I'd be playing there."
The future of Dalton's recruitment remains hazy but he has an idea of when he wants to commit.
"I don't have any visits planned right now," he said. "Sometimes they just come up at the last minute.
"I don't know when I'll come out with a favorite," Dalton said. "I'll probably commit some time before the fifth week of the season because I'm an early graduate."
Dalton is currently the ranked as the No. 47 player in the Rivals100.
