Quinn commits to Miss. State

Jackson (Miss.) Provine defensive end Sandy Quinn has wrapped up the recruiting

process.
“I made my commitment to Mississippi State today,” he
said. "I felt like that was the best place for me as far as the defensive system
and having a chance to get on the field as a freshman. They told me they really
needed a defensive end, and that I'd be given a real good shot to come in and
play right away. That was important to me.
"Other than that, I just felt like I fit in real nice at
Mississippi State, both for football and my education."
Quinn (6-3, 240, 4.7) is rated the No. 39 weakside
defensive end in the nation. He picked the Bulldogs over Ole Miss and Southern Miss.
