Quincy Wilson talks summer visits

Quincy Wilson, safety from University School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., kept a busy schedule this summer with a final trip to Florida State. He talked about the trip to Tallahassee and more.
"I went to FSU two weeks ago," said Wilson. "It was my last trip of the summer. The visit to FSU was nice. I went up there and toured the campus. I did the camp, and I did great. They have not offered me yet.

"The coaches said they really liked me and going to recruit me hard. I spoke with the DB coach [Mark Stoops], the receivers coach [Lawrence Dawsey] and the head coach [Jimbo] Fisher. They seem like great people and want to get to know them more."
Wilson talked more of his early interest in the Seminoles.
"I have always had interest in FSU," he said. "It's a great school to go to. I'll just have to wait and see what happens with them."
The talented 2014 prospect has reeled in 15 scholarship offers which includes Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida, LSU, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
"My most recent offer is from Louisiana-Lafayette," Wilson said. "Right now I would say Ohio State, Florida, Auburn and LSU are showing the most interest in me. I don't have any favorites. I am just looking at all my options."
Wilson also took trips this summer to Auburn, Florida and Ohio State. He shared what stands out most in the three programs.
"I like the coaches a lot at Florida," he said. "I have a good relationship with them. There is also a kid I grew up with who is up there now, Cody Riggs.
"Auburn was kind of different from all the other places I visited. I like the coaches there. They seem very interested in me.
"The visit to Ohio State was very nice. The weather was like Florida. The coaches were great. I spoke to the head coach [Urban Meyer]. He seems to like me a lot."
Wilson hopes to attend games this fall at Auburn, Florida, Miami and Ohio State.
