Quiet TE Is Loud About Favorite
Miami (Fla.) Carol City tight end Laenar Nixon is the quiet type. But he couldn't stop raving about Virginia Tech.
"Man, it was awesome," said the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder. "The fans are crazy there, the atmosphere is nuts and I really liked it alot."

Enough to commit?
"I'm still thinking on it," he said. "I'm about 85-percent sure I'm going to commit, it just depends on when."
Nixon is set to visit Oklahoma this weekend and Maryland on Dec. 14. He was also thinking about taking a visit to Rutgers in January.
"I could wake up tomorrow and end things or I might take a couple of visits," he said. "I just know that Virginia Tech was beautiful and I loved it."
