Queiro has visits planned

Kyle Queiro has six offers and is planning to hit the road for a few visits in the near future.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete from Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic most recently visited Boston College and the Eagles made a strong case.

"I went to BC for their junior day two or three weeks ago on a Sunday," he said. "Because of basketball that was my only recent visit.
"I had already seen BC because our whole football team went to their summer camp but I got to see the actual campus and what it's like there. It sounded incredible. I think there's about 60 schools or something like that within a 15 mile radius. I already knew the facilities and coaches and I like all that."
Queiro plans to visit Penn State for a junior day this weekend. After that he wants to visit Maryland and Duke.
He has had limited contact with Maryland and Duke but has been on Penn State's radar for a long time.
"I spoke to Coach Anderson, who was the recruiting coach for this area and the offensive line coach, but he retired. Now I'm talking to a new coach for our area. They were the first school to send me letters and that was my freshman year. I've been in communication with them for a long time."
Queiro added that the father of one of his teammates played for Penn State so that's a connection he has had in the back of his mind.
