QB Williams wrapping up May strong

Chicago (Ill.) Vocational junior dual threat quarterback prospect Isiah Williams (6-foot-1, 210 pounds) is wrapping up his May evaluation period the same way he started this important recruiting period, with Williams adding more offers and recruiting interest.
"I received offers this week from both Penn State and Bowling Green State," Williams said. "I have a total of 24 scholarship offers now. I received calls from the coaches at both schools this past week, and they both said that the paperwork is in the mail."

Williams gave us his initial thoughts on his latest offers from Penn State and Bowling Green State.
"Penn State is a really good offer, and I've now been offered by every Big Ten conference school. Penn State has a very strong engineering program, which is a real plus and which is also important in making my final college choice. Penn State also has such great tradition, and getting a chance to play for Joe Paterno would really be an honor. Penn State definitely has a lot to offer and I'm really happy to get an offer from them."
"Bowling Green State is in the MAC conference, and they have a really fun offense. Bowling Green has also developed several strong quarterbacks over the years and they are a winning program. I need to research them from an academic standpoint, but getting an offer from the Falcons is great."
Williams is thrilled about how his May evaluation period has turned out.
"It was a real good May for me. At times it got a little stressful with all of the phone calls and such, but now that were done with the evaluation period I can catch my breath and look back now with a lot of happiness and joy. I want to just get re-energized now and prepare for final exams."
As far as naming any early favorites, Williams is going to reshuffle the deck soon.
"I'm basically going to look at the schools that have offered me individually again, and I want to sort things out as far as from a favorites standpoint. I want to make sure that I give each school a good look, then I want to narrow things down in say a month or so and then I'll move forward from that point."
Isiah Williams now has offers from Penn State, Bowling Green State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Central Michigan, New Mexico State, Colorado, Iowa State, North Carolina, Wisconsin, U Conn, Oregon, Ohio State, Boston College, Akron, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Illinois, Purdue, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Kansas and Indiana.
