"The weather was just too nice to stay around the house this weekend, and I'm glad that I had a chance to see some spring scrimmages. I'm just trying to get around to as many schools as I can this spring"

"I really like the NIU mix on offense. NIU definitely has some really good players all over the field, and I get the feeling that they will be good again this year. I enjoyed the pace of the scrimmage and the intensity of the scrimmage. The coaches are really fired up at NIU and so are the players. I had a long talk with the coaches at NIU, and I really enjoyed talking with them on Saturday. I really like the coaching staff and they seem like really straight shooting kind of guys who seem more concerned about you as a person."
Williams then talked about his impressions of the Purdue Boilermakers.
"I also liked the Purdue scrimmage on Sunday. Purdue really has some impressive players on both sides of the ball, and personally I like the fact that they have added some option into their offense this spring. I had a chance to check out some of the facilities and the campus, and the indoor facility at Purdue is really impressive along with the weight room. I enjoyed talking with Coach (Mark) Hagen, who's my recruiting coach at Purdue along with Blaine Bennett, who's the Purdue quarterbacks coach. The coaches seemed like they really want me to camp at Purdue this summer. I'm still not sure about my summer camp plans just yet, but I'm considering camping at Purdue this summer."
Williams is also looking to hit the road this coming weekend.
"I'm planning to check out the University of Toledo's spring game this coming Saturday. I have some friends who will be playing for Toledo so I told them I would go with them to check out the spring game."
