QB Williams draws early callers

Chicago (Ill.) Vocational junior dual threat quarterback prospect Isiah Williams (6-foot-1, 210 pounds) had quite a week last week, landing several scholarship offers in the first week that college coaches could make in school visits. Williams also has received his first of many calls from college coaches on Sunday night.
"It was a great week last week, that's for sure," Williams said. "Just to have these many offers this early in the recruiting process is truly a blessing. I'm very excited about everything right now, but I also want to show everyone what I'm capable of doing on the field."

Williams had a long day on Sunday, which also included calls from the coaches at Illinois and Michigan.
"I went down to Champaign on Sunday for a photo shoot for a magazine. It didn't have anything to do with Illinois and it was basically just a private photo shoot. I drove back to Chicago, then headed up to Park Ridge for a quarterback camp on Sunday night. The coaches from Michigan called my house during the day but I wasn't home. They left a message and said that they would call back and that coach (Andy) Moeller will be in school this week."
"Coach (Reggie) Mitchell from Illinois called me late tonight after the quarterback camp. I had a good talk with him, we just talked about the recruiting process and we also talked about Illinois and things of that nature, It was a good talk with Coach Mitchell."
Williams is also very excited about the upcoming Ann Arbor Nike Camp this Saturday.
"I've been fired up for about two weeks now about the Nike Camp. I definitely want to go and show the coaches from across the country what I can do with a football in my hands. I'm just excited to show the nation what I can do. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the other top players and seeing how well I match up with those other players. I can't wait until Saturday."
