Steelton (Pa.) Highspire quarterback Max Ward is content with where he stands in the recruiting process but he's already looking ahead to summer camps as a chance to get his name out there even more.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect from the Keystone State has a verbal offer from Akron and serious interest from several other mid-majors.
This summer Ward plans on showcasing his skills to a couple of schools in BCS conferences.

"This summer I'm going to attend one day camps at Bowling Green, Old Dominion, Rutgers and Virginia," Ward said.
"I haven't heard so much from Virginia. I got a brochure for their camp and that's about it. Rutgers has been having a lot of contact with me so far. I talk with coach (Brian) Angelichio.
"He's pretty much said I'm going to have to have a big season for them to offer me."
Ward's peace of mind isn't going to hinge on whether the Scarlet Knights offer, though he would love for that to happen. He seems perfectly content with some of the schools that have shown more interest so far, even if they are less prestigious programs.
"I've had a lot of contact with Bowling Green and Old Dominion," Ward continued. They want to come up to my school and watch me sometime.
"I"m going to say my favorites are Old Dominion, Bowling Green and Akron."
