Greenwood, S.C. quarterback Sam Williams hopes to get official offers from his three favorite schools once he gets his official passing score on the ACT.
“I’m getting the results back any day,” said the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder. “If I get a passing score, then everyone said they’d offer. Right now they say they’ve offered, but until I qualify I don’t count on it.”
Those three teams are South Carolina, Maryland and Middle Tennessee State. His favorite is clear.
“South Carolina is my top choice,” he said. “My teammate (D’Von Hill) committed there and I like the coaches. I’m also liking Maryland, Middle Tennessee State and I liked Auburn when I was there for an unofficial visit but they haven’t been recruiting me lately.”
And what about Williams’ other teammate Ricardo Hurley?
“He likes USC a lot too,” said Williams. “It would be great if all of us went to South Carolina but we’ll see.”
